Facts
- In addition to local families, the Ronald McDonald House of the Miami Valley Region has served families from 58 Ohio counties, 37 other states, and other countries including Guam, Puerto Rico, Nigeria and the Island of St. Vincent.
- We have been serving families in our region since 1980, and were the 14th Ronald McDonald House established. Currently there are over 300 RMHC's across the globe.

Dayton's Ronald McDonald House serves an average of 500 families a year. In 2011, we served 468 families totaling 3,681 nights of occupancy and 7,989 bed nights. This includes 940 adults and 193 siblings of hospitalized children.
- In 2011, our day guest program served 1,875 day guests from 17 states and 52 Ohio counties.
- The average stay for House guests is 7 to 9 nights. A family's stay can range anywhere from one night to 120 days. There is no maximum stay.
- We partner with all local hospitals that serve pediatric patients. Primary hospitals include: Dayton Children's Medical Center, Miami Valley Regional Hospital, Kettering Medical Center, Good Samaritan Hospital, and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Hospital.
